Fantastic Trip

It was in the early June when me and my friends had a wonderful trip to the city of Jogyakarta. Even though we went only for a day, but we had so much fun there. Our purpose was because of a task that told us to hunt some tourist and we also wanted to have some early month refreshment.  There were eight of us including myself, and we rent a car for a day and took off from Purwokerto around 5 o’clock on Saturday . Then we arrived around 11 o’clock and had some breakfast at the central city of Jogyakarta. After having some breakfast, we went straight to the tourist village where we interviewed some foreigners and do our Business English task. Me and my friends took some photo, met some foreigners and also had a conversation with them.  

Meeting some tourist was an awesome experience. At first I was afraid to talk with them, but after I tried talking, it was actually fun. This is one of my picture having a photo with a foreign couple from Texas, America. They are Caroline & Steven and they told me that they were on a holiday. Yogyakarta was the place that the couple choose to spend their leisure time. They had been there for 3 days, and had plan to stay for another week. I asked them where had they go for 3 days and they said they have gone to Keraton, Malioboro, & Taman Sari.  Steven said that Caroline is having a baby so he wanted to have some fun together while Caroline is still pregnant. It was surprising when they both spoke Indonesian fluently. Then they said that both of them lived in Pekanbaru for almost a year. Unluckily, I didn’t get to talk much because they we’re in a hurry. They also said that Yogyakarta was a beautiful city, with a unique culture and the couples also said they’re planning to move to Yogyakarta after the baby is born.

My friends and I have planned to go to the beach to have some fun, but apparently the weather was unfriendly. So we went to Ambarukmo Plaza instead and had some lunch there. After having lunch, we traveled around the city and went to some shopping centers.  Finally, we went back to Purwokerto at around 8 o’clock and arrived at 2 am in the morning. It was a fantastic trip, and we have plan to go there again someday.
